Do you know who will never let you down? Coffee. Coffee is always there to keep you going after a long week. Always there to warm you up, or cool you down if you’re an iced coffee fan like us?

Leicester is filled with fantastic coffee shops, so what’s a better reason to create a list of 10 independent Coffee Shops in Leicester City Centre?

Bread & Honey

First on our list is Bread & Honey. Why? Just look at the front of that shop! It is the perfect spot for those aesthetic autumn pics and even better, the coffee there is amazing!

Koben

A new addition to the city’s coffee scene, Koben is a Danish-inspired delight located on King Street. If you’re a fan of the Scandi style trend then this is a must. Serving up Insta-worthy espresso in sleek cups along with gorgeous pastries. Your friends will thank you for showing them this hot spot.

Audrey

Now, you may be thinking, Audreys is a bar. Correct but every morning Wednesday through to Sunday, this pink palace is a great place to grab a coffee, or even a pink latte if that takes your fancy. As with many places on this list, it’s another spot to shoot Insta content!

St Martins Coffee Shop

We’ve recently been introduced to the London Oatley Fog (or just a London Fog if you don’t like oat milk!). Show of hands for the people who know what this is, because we had no idea either.

But now we do, and this drink is all things autumn poured into a huge cosy mug, and is now our ultimate obsession.  Of course, they do offer other options, but the LOF is the way to go.

Leicester Coffee House

If you’re on the hunt for a coffee that is a little more exotic, then Leicester Coffee House is the spot for you. Enjoy ethically sourced coffee at Leicester Coffee House on Granby Street. With an amazing range of coffee from all over the world, it’s the perfect spot for a quick pick-me-up on a rainy autumn day.
They also showcase new artwork from different local artists each month, so the scenery is always changing.

Bryter Moon Deli

Hidden in the Silver Arcade you’ll find Bryter Moon Deli. A quaint little shop serving up some delicious homemade dishes along with fantastic coffee! This is one for all pup-parents as they offer pup-cups for all four-legged friends!

Saints of Mokha

Famous for their Red Velvet Latte, Saints of Mokha is a quirky independent speciality coffee house & roastery right here in Leicester. Serving up delicious coffee you won’t get anywhere else.

Café La Foret

King Street seems to be the place for cosy coffee shops. They are home to a fusion of classic homemade food and patisserie with a twist, inspired by flavours from around the World.

Almedia

Located on Guildhall Lane, just a short walk from Leicester’s Cathedral, Almeida Coffee & Juice Bar is set in an idyllic location and is the perfect hideaway to escape those rainy days. With a selection of homemade treats, as well as their own signature blend of coffee, Almedia Coffee is the perfect spot to sit back, relax and watch the world go by.
