The Exchange Bar has been the social hub of Leicester’s Cultural Quarter since 2011.
From their free breakfast offer on weekdays, through lunch to after-work socials, pre- and post-theatre drinks and late night lounging, this is the venue to suit all.
Walking in, The Exchange feels like an extension of your living room. Cosy sofas, mis-match tables and chairs and, most importantly, a friendly smile to greet you. Everyone is made to feel like a regular.
The selection of drinks is wide enough to accommodate all tastes but not too intimidating. Pick from a selection of draught and bottled beers, scour the bottles of spirits lined neatly on the shelves (including a great selection of gin), or indulge in a glass of wine. Don’t miss their jam jar cocktails for a treat – there’s often a monthly special offering a more adventurous choice! There is also tea, coffee and hot chocolate to settle in a cosy corner with.
Drinks are complimented by a range of excellent bar snacks. If you’re feeling like a little more, the team will gladly point you over the road to their sister restaurant, the Queen Victoria Arts Club.
And it’s not all about the drinks. The Exchange hosts regular events, from comedy to bands, themed nights, book clubs, philosophy discussions, speed dating, play groups, business networking and much more.
You can even host your very own party in one of their two rooms available for hire – for free! Pop in and have a chat with the team, they even offer catering options to make your bash the best in town.
If you're already a customer you know all about the homely vibe on offer, and if you’ve not been before then you are in for a treat.
