James' Cafe Bistro

James’ Café Bistro is a family friendly and accessible restaurant serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner in the city.

The quirky interior is decorated with retro kitchenalia and vintage toys – the perfect backdrop for those Instagram-worth shots! Plus, there are plenty of toys available to keep the kids happy while you eat – win win!

When it comes to the food there are no corners cut – it is all made fresh to order using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. The team are happy to adapt dishes to suit vegan and gluten-free diets – just ask! Every week diners are spoilt for choice with a new specials menu containing delicious lunch options and homemade desserts.

Saturdays are party night. From 5pm they host the legendary 'Sing for your Supper' night: an open mic where performers are rewarded with a free meal! From 7pm it's Vinyl Night, or perhaps one of their fantastic live bands will be visiting. On top of this there is a programme of special events through the year, including the popular Psychic Night and Motown evenings.
