DJ’s Groom Room & Sandra May’s Hair Studio opened in 2014 by mother and son team, Sandra and DJ.

The family team specialise in traditional barbering techniques and services, ladies creative colour, extensions, hair up and weddings. Since July 2018 the salon has added a beauty room and solarium, creating a one stop shop for yout every grooming and aesthetic need.

As for the team’s experience: it’s second to none! Sandra May Potts has been in the hair industry for 39 years, working for tv shows, international pageant contests and a variety of high profile names. Master Barber DJ Irvine has been in the industry for 15 years. DJ has both worked and help establish various Barber shops around the Leicestershire, and is the only Barber in the UK to hold the VTCT trade test standard certificates for Creative Cutting in Barbering, Providing Shaving Services and Designing and Creating Facial Hair Designs. This means DJ sets the standard for all Barbers in the UK!
