Bread & Honey is a small but beautifully formed coffee house nestled within the business district of Leicester.
The shop was founded by Paul back in 2010, who wanted to bring the premium coffee he had tasted in other cities back to Leicester. After wandering the streets of London tasting as many coffees from different roasters as he could manage, Paul finally found what he has been looking for in Monmouth Coffee. With is ideal suppliers and a great location secured on King Street which was bustling with city officers workers, Bread & Honey was born.
Bread & Honey source ingredients from local award-winning producers and use those quality elements to prepare sandwiches, soups, salads and quiches from scratch. Not enough? You can also choose from the ever-changing choice of mouth-watering homemade cakes.
Start your day with their breakfast menu, including the superfood granola, porridge served with a seasonal fruit compote and of course – no breakfast menu would be complete without – the locally sourced sausage or bacon roll served on Hambleton Bakery bread.
At lunch there is a changing menu of three soups, with at least one vegan, and two vegetarian options. They start each day with a fridge full of beautifully made sandwiches and salads which are available to take away, or you can stop a while, take a seat and watch the world go by.
