How to spend Valentine’s Day solo in Leicester

This Valentines Day we are flying solo and swearing by our three S’s: Skint, Single and ✨ SLAYING ✨

We are here to remind you that being single on Valentine’s Day is totally fine! Just because you are alone, doesn’t mean you have to be lonely, so let’s get comfortable with our own company and enjoy celebrating ourselves for the day! Here are some ideas for a Valentines Day in Leicester to pour some love in to YOU.

Grab some brunch

You will need some fuel to keep you going because today is going to be jam-packed with good vibes! Head over to KAI in St Martins Square for a delicious brunch. Our go-to is Eggs Royale, but if you fancy pancakes, then do it, treating yourself is the name of the game today. They also have cocktails on offer should they take your fancy.

Get a manicure

Now that your tummy is happy, let’s treat those hard-working hands. There is nowhere better to go for a luxury manicure in Leicester than The Guild Rooms, Leicester’s very own champagne nail bar. This isn’t your average appointment; this experience will leave you staring at your nails for weeks!

Choc Stop

It’s not Valentine’s Day without chocolate, so we had to include Cocoa Amore! As this is the day to treat yourself, we aren’t doing half measures, so boujie chocolate it is!

Movie Time

Now that you have your chocolates, head on over to the Phoenix and grab a last-minute screening of their latest movie releases!  Not sure about this sentence, might make people feel it is weird! Perhaps have a rethink on how to word it?  

Buy yourself flowers

To finish off the day, it’s time for a final treat, flowers. Flowerworks is your one-stop shop for all things floral. So, grab yourself a beautiful bouquet and while you’re there snap a shot of their famous doorway display!
