Curve

Join Curve for a sensational Christmas with their brand new Made at Curve production, ‘A Chorus Line’. Set in New York City in 1975, ‘A Chorus Line’ follows the story of 18 performers auditioning for a new Broadway musical. What follows are a series of searing stories about childhood, following your dreams and ambition. Enjoy an evening of sensational choreography, great songs, heart wrenching stories and one of musical theatre’s most unforgettable finales.

The Y Theatre

The Y Theatre is bringing all the Christmas spirit this December with a selection of family shows that are the perfect day out for all ages.

Carol Concert:

Enjoy live performances, bible readings and carol singing. The cosy carol service is a great time to meet with friends and celebrate Christmas with mulled wine and mince pies.

The event is free and open to all communities, and if you wish to give a donation you could help give a homeless young adult a safe place to call home and the support they need to create lasting change in their lives.

Santa’s Best Ever Christmas:

Join Father Christmas and his little helpers in this brand new, festive, musical interactive adventure to make this year Santa’s Best Ever Christmas! The show is perfect for children and families alike, with every child receiving a specially wrapped present from Santa after the most Christmassy Christmas show ever. HO-HO-HO!

Phoenix

Phoenix is Leicester’s only independent cinema and is the perfect destination for every film buff. From Hollywood blockbusters to micro budget independent films, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. If you fancy a pre- or post-movie snack, make sure you check out their Café Bar serving up freshly cooked food and drinks, which you can even take into the cinema screen with you! Christmas screenings include the Bolshoi Ballet performance of ‘The Nutcracker’, a festive concert in ‘Christmas with Andre’, and a classic: ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’.

The Little Theatre

Join The Little Theatre this December for a night of fairy-tale magic with their production of ‘Cinderella’. Set in France, follow the classical story of Cinderella and enjoy a glittering feast for the eyes – all the usual panto mayhem is a guarantee!
